"Have suitcase will travel"

• I've been thinking lately how studying God's Word is a lot like packing a suitcase. Spending time really trying to understand the scriptures provides what we need along our spiritual journeys, especially when we take a wrong turn and experience difficulties along the way. If we have packed His Truths, promises, and guidelines, we are equipped to handle better whatever happens. But it takes discipline, time and patience. But when we commit to be in His Word regularly, He is Faithful to provide all we need for the adventure.
